Trainer Instructions: Database & Administrative Procedures

To ensure our student records and training data remain accurate, please follow these four steps for every session you host:

1. Announce & Prepare Your Training

As soon as your training dates are confirmed, please contact Avi at [email protected] to:

  • Schedule the Presentation: Arrange a time during your session for the IYTA presentation (covering 300-hour program details, membership benefits, and support teachers receive from the IYTA).

  • Confirm Materials: Ensure you have the most current version of the official training manual.

  • Request Promotion: Let us know if you would like your training featured in our newsletter.

  • Submit the Form: Complete the Teacher Training Entry Form. All fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

2. Register Your Students

At the start of your training, once the participant list is finalized, please register your students based on the program level:

  • For 200-hour (Level 1): Use the 200 hour Student Information Form. You must submit a separate form for each student. Ensure you select your specific training from the dropdown to link the records.

  • For Other Trainings: Use the Other Trainings Student Information Form. You can submit all students on a single form by clicking the “+” sign next to the “Country” field.

3. Document Graduation

Before your graduation ceremony:

  • Scan Certificates: Please scan all signed certificates before presenting them to students.

  • Submit Records: Email [email protected] with the scanned certificates and a list of any students who have not yet completed their graduation requirements. This allows us to mark students as either “incomplete” or “graduated” in our database.

4. Finalize Logistics

Contact [email protected] at the conclusion of your training to calculate the final training tithe.
